Fall 2009

I should probably take a few minutes to briefly state all the craziness that has been occurring since I last wrote...weeeeelllllll...at least the most recent stuff. I TOTALLY cleaned and reorganized my room the week before school started. I have a couple of little filing cabinets. =D In other words, working in an office all summer got to me.... The disgusting amount of carpet that can be seen in my room is starting to seem normal now. I couldn't sleep the first night...no joke.
The first week of school was absolutely insane. I declared an art major on Monday, so I'm pre-art eventually to be a photography/digital imaging emphasis. Sooo excited. I weaseled my way into two art classes during the first week and dropped two other classes I'd had, which was quite the fun process. I now have 14 credit hours this semester and will have no life in September since I'm taking Babcock Theatre lab and crewing the Bakkhai.
I guess I can't say I'll have no life because I'm still going to Utenited...albeit ONLY for the actual worship time...and I just picked up my MUSS tickets...exciting!
I'm so not awake/all here right now, so many apologies if something doesn't make sense. Unfortunately staying up late texting and then not being able to sleep, and then getting up earlyish just doesn't mix well...even ballroom didn't really wake me up....
Mmmm ballroom! I love that class, but I'm developing a bit too much of a reputation. lol. The teacher recognized me...and remembered my name from last fall when I took the class, so hopefully that means I wasn't too bad. lol. Today, he asked me to dance with the new guy who had never taken any dance before...nice compliment. :) One of the other guys later greeted me with "so you're the expert right?" That works fine...if I'm awake and focused....
I LOVE my 2D art teacher...he is just absolutely awesome. My 3D art teacher is a little...um...odd? My wire for that class weighs a LOT...if I had a scale I would have weighed it by now...I could be weight lifting between classes....
My script analysis class is going to be awesome. I have a new friend in the class, which is HUGE...over eighty people...by far the biggest I've ever had. The teacher is really great and he also takes the group for the London study abroad, which I will be doing at some point.
The best thing about this semester is that I do not have to write ANY papers! WOOT! Finally, a break from writing a gazillion papers. I'll have to work my butt off for art, but this semester is going to be fabulous. :)
Although, a bit of a warning...socializing probably isn't going to happen...
